We support a party for moderate Kansans who feel politically homeless. That party, United Kansas, already exists. What we are doing is building support for a party platform that clearly supports moderate views. A party neither far left nor far right. Kansans are often underestimated; join with us and find your voice.

We are United Kansas Now.

We are inspired by President Eisenhower’s vision of:

“…a program of progressive moderation, liberal in its human concerns, conservative in its economic proposals, constructively dynamic and optimistic
in its appraisal of the future.”

We are working to sign up as many Kansans as possible who share our belief that moderate Kansans deserve a place at the political table.

Read our plan, our why, and our draft platform. If you like what you read, sign up. It requires nothing but your support. If you want to do more, we can use the help!

Our Plan is to focus first on the Kansas State House of Representatives and challenge the current Super Majority of the Kansas Republicans. We need to win just four seats to deny the Republicans their two-thirds majority that allows them to do whatever they want.

Our Why is, well you know, why we’re doing this.

Our Platform and its Preamble define what it means to us to be a Kansas Moderate on many central issues.

And….if we get enough support, we can consider higher state and federal offices.

If you are troubled by all that is happening in this country, here is your chance to do something other than scream. Start the fix of America right here in Kansas.

“When anything is going to happen in this country,
it happens first in Kansas. Abolition, Prohibition, Populism, the Bull Moose … these things came popping out of Kansas like bats out of hell.”

William Allen White, 1922

A party in Kansas for moderates.

A new party, United Kansas, was certified last year and will be on the ballot in Kansas in 2026.

While it was created to support voting reform, it does not have a platform other than uniting Kansans under “shared values and common goals.”

We believe it can be the vehicle for moderates to define and voice their views in these crazy times.

To help the new party broaden its purpose, we have formed a support coalition that we call “United Kansas Now.”

We have drafted a preliminary platform.

We have drafted a preliminary action plan for competing in at least the 40% of state house seats that were unopposed in the last general election with the possibility of competing in other statewide and national races.

Our starting goal is to flip at least four Republican seats in the Kansas House to deny Republicans their super-majority that lets them do whatever they want.

We are seeking supporters across Kansas who agree with the basics of the platform.

At this point, we are asking for no more than a willingness to sign up in support.

Once we have sufficient numbers, we will work with the existing United Kansas party to make it a more defined party of the center.
